Substitute Health Aide / STNA

The Educational Service Center (ESC) of Medina County is seeking compassionate, dependable Substitute Health Aides/STNAs to provide health-related support to students in school settings throughout Medina County.

In this role, you will help ensure students' health needs are met so they can safely participate in the educational environment. Working under the direction of licensed school health professionals and district personnel, you will provide direct student care while promoting a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications - Substitute Health Aide / STNA

• Hold or able to obtain a valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit or be licensed as a school nurse through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW).
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification or previous medical experience preferred.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and medical protocols.
• Ability to safely assist students with mobility, personal care, and other physical needs as required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation.
