Description - RN Berea City School District

Provide health services that support the educational mission and goals of the school/district and the ESC. These services will strengthen and facilitate the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning. Promote good health practices of the school community, and meet local and state mandates regarding health issues by performing the following functions.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Ohio Board of Nursing
• Ohio Educational Aide certificate or licensed as a school nurse, in accordance with the ODE
• Pediatric or school health background preferred but will train.
• Self-directed and able to learn required skills for the position
• Ability to physically manage students with disabilities
• Congenial disposition and strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Completes documented evidence of a clear criminal record.
• Possesses a valid Ohio driver’s license

Hours and Days:

5 days; 6.5 hours per day
