The Highland Local School District has an anticipated opening for one (1) Certified Structured Literacy Interventionist.
CERTIFICATIONS: Intervention Specialist (K-12) Mild/Moderate or related certification with
Reading Endorsement (K-12)
Additionally, applicants must have certification from a program that is awarded AccreditationPlus from the International Dyslexia Association. Accreditation must have engaged in intensive supervised practicum experiences that were sufficiently designed and staffed to promote applied mastery of the principles and practices of structured literacy in the service of preventing reading failure and remediating off-track readers with profiles characteristic of dyslexia.
Examples of Accreditation Plus: Wilson Level 2, Orton Gillingham Level 2, Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT)

SALARY:
The person selected to fill this position will be placed at the appropriate step of the salary schedule contained in the negotiated agreement between the HEA and the Highland Board of Education.
