Itinerant Health & Physical Education Teacher (PK–12)

Central Intermediate Unit 10 – Central PA 2026–2027 School Year

CIU 10 is seeking a certified Health & Physical Education Teacher (PK–12) to provide Health, Physical Education, and Adaptive Physical Education instruction for students in special education and alternative education programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• PA Certification in Health and Physical Education PK–12 (CSPG 47)
• Ability to support diverse learners and adapt instruction to student needs

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Health, PE, and Adaptive PE aligned to PA standards
• Modify instruction for students with IEPs
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
• Track student progress and participate in IEP meetings
