Day-to-Day substitute classroom assistants and aides needed in Centre County for preschool and K-4 classrooms. Experience working with multiple disabilities preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Help children get on and off the bus during arrival and departure, as needed.

Assist students with bathroom needs, lifting, dressing, and feeding.

Prepare and operate instructional materials and equipment like Smartboards and iPads, as directed.

Help students use teaching devices and equipment for individualized instruction.

 Oversee and interact with students during instructional activities, play, and emergency drills.

 Follow and implement IEPs and behavioral plans, assisting with behavioral management as needed.

 Complete at least 20 hours of staff development activities related to assignment each school year.
