POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Behavioral Health Technician - CSBBH
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience preferred
REPORTS TO: Assistant Director of Behavioral Health
JOB GOAL: Performs direct treatment, counseling, and behavioral support to meet individualized treatment needs of clients. Services are provided in school, home and/or community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Facilitate individualized interventions to clients as outlined in the treatment plan.
2. Respond to crisis situations. Complete significant incident reports when needed.
3. Participate in treatment team, core and CASSP meetings when requested.
4. Transfer therapeutic skills to educational staff and family.
5. Participate in CASSP, treatment plan meeting, etc., when directed by supervisor.
6. Communicate regularly with families and school staff.
7. Complete COS’s with families.
8. Attend supervisions and complete clinical notes.
