Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree; experience working with children in a mental health setting preferred

POSITION DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Mental Health Worker - Partial Hospitalization Program
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years’ experience working with children in a mental health setting. Flexible hours may be required based on individualized client needs. The ability to utilize passive restraint techniques is required to maintain safety of self and others.
REPORTS TO: Mental Health Treatment Specialist, Assistant Director of Behavioral Health and Director of Behavioral Health
LOCATION: Partial Hospitalization Program location in Luzerne Intermediate Unit 18
JOB GOAL: Performs direct treatment, counseling, and monitorial duties in a supportive role to meet individualized treatment needs of assigned students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Clinical Services in the Partial Hospitalization Program
2. Documentation in the Partial Hospitalization Program
3. Case Management
4. Other Duties
