First Grade Teacher / Temporary Professional Employee
One-Year Position – 2026–2027 School Year
The Milton Area School District is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative, and dedicated First Grade Teacher for a one-year Temporary Professional Employee (TPE) position for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who is committed to creating a positive and engaging classroom environment while supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student.
As a First Grade Teacher, you will plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in core academic areas, differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs, monitor and assess student progress, and use data to guide instructional decisions. You will collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support student success while establishing a safe, structured, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate appropriate for the position
- Required Pennsylvania clearances, TB test, pre-employment physical, and drug screening
- Must meet all applicable Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements
