Position Overview
NCOESC is seeking a dedicated, organized, leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical leadership role in supporting districts with the development, implementation, and monitoring of high-quality special education services. The Special Education Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state special education regulations while supporting the effective delivery of services for students with disabilities, particularly those with moderate to intensive needs.
The supervisor collaborates closely with building administrators and supervisors, intervention specialists, related service personnel, the Tiffin Development Center staff, and families to foster inclusive environments and improve outcomes for all students with disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
● Valid Ohio Administrative Specialist or Principal license (or other appropriate licensure).
● Experience in special education instruction, leadership, or program coordination.
● Deep understanding of IDEA, state operating standards, and effective instructional strategies.
● Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to travel to various school sites within the NCOESC service area.
● Proficiency in Google Workspace, and student information systems. (e.g., ProgressBook, DASL, SCView, SameGoal)

● Submit medical and non-conviction documentation as required by preschool licensing.
