Job Summary    

Under general direction, develops and leads daily instructional activities for students in accordance with the school’s high expectations for all students and Ohio’s Standards for the Teaching Profession. Creates lessons to meet the needs of all students of all learning levels and abilities. Ensures a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment for student learning.             

Minimum Qualifications             

· Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field

· Valid Ohio Teaching License (Must be Kindergarten Licensed)

· Prior teaching experience helpful

· Knowledgeable of Ohio learning and extended standards

· Knowledgeable of school learning resources

· Strong relationship building, communication and presentation skills with school age children & parents/guardians. Good interpersonal relationship skills including cultural sensitivity & competence
