The following position is open for the 2025-2026 school year:

Intervention Specialist (ED) – Triway Elementary

DESCRIPTION: Provide special education services, including assessment, intervention, direct instruction, create/implement/monitor behavior plans, to students with behavioral and emotional concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Hold current Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist License K-12, Mild to Moderate/Moderate to Intensive
• Knowledge of current assessment tools, ETR and IEP process, RTI, IDEA rules and regulations 
• Ability to design/implement standards-based IEPs and Progress Reports
• Knowledge of/ability to apply principles and methods of developing an instructional and behavioral management system
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse population of students, families, and staff
• Must pass criminal background check
• Experience teaching K-5th grade students preferred
• CPI Training or equivalent preferred
• Expected to assist building duties as assigned by building principal 

SALARY: Based upon the district salary schedule
