Fair Honors Ensembles Coordinator

The Educational Service Center of Medina County is seeking a qualified music instructor to provide coordination of a long-standing annual music program comprised of elementary, middle school, and high school music students in band, choir, and orchestra.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the ESC of Medina County superintendent and in cooperation with the ESC of Medina County Fine Arts secretary, the Fair Honors Ensembles Coordinator provides administrative oversight/supervision of this event.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides a leadership role in the preparation of the Fair Honors Ensembles Festival by planning, implementing, chairing this event.
• Works cooperatively with all ESC staff.
• Undertakes individual, corporate, and foundation fundraising for the Fair Honors Ensembles.
• Maintains communications and a working relationship with local and county arts organizations to develop and maintain partnerships with county offices and school districts.
• Consults with music teachers and administrators concerning problems related to the Fair Honors Ensembles.
• Coordinates and attends various meetings related to the Fine Arts Festivals.

Qualifications

Appropriate State of Ohio music certification.
