Job Description: LPN 1:1 for Student at Windfall School / MCBDD

In this position you will provide primary care (1:1) for a student with higher behavioral and medical needs. You will provide health services that support the educational mission and goals of the school/district and the ESC of Medina County. These services will strengthen and facilitate the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning. Promote good health practices of the school community, and meet local and state mandates regarding health issues by performing the following functions.

Qualifications - LPN 1:1 for Student at Windfall School / MCBDD

• Licensed as LPN in accordance with the Ohio Board of Nursing. Ohio Educational Aide certificate in accordance with the ODE.
• Pediatric or school health background preferred, but will train.
• Self-directed and able to learn required skills for the position.
• Ability to physically manage students with disabilities.
• Congenial disposition and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Completes documented evidence of a clear criminal record.
• Possesses a valid Ohio driver’s license.

Hours: 8:15 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.

Days: 5 days per week - school calendar (No Weekends)

Holidays, paid calamity days, summer hours available

Salary Range: $21-$24
